The Workmen’s Circle / Arbeter Ring takes a joyful and meaningful approach to nurturing Jewish communities across North America through secular Jewish holiday celebrations, a state-of-the art Jewish summer camp with a rich Yiddishkayt program, retreats at our beautiful lakeside resort, and excellent East Coast facilities to care for the elderly. We welcome and value Jewish diversity in all our programs and services.
Holiday Celebrations & Commemorations
The Workmen’s Circle welcomes people of all ages into our progressive Jewish communities to mark life-cycle milestones, gather for secular Jewish holiday celebrations, and commemorate events in Jewish history. We have unique secular Bas/Bar Mitsve celebrations, a Purim social justice bash in New York that draws participants from around the world, gala communal rituals to mark Pesakh and Chanuka, commemorations of Holocaust resistance and heroism, and innovative, reflective community gatherings to mark Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Contact a regional office to learn more.
