How are you feeling? It’s one of those questions everyone knows the best answer to. And whether you say oysgetseykhnt, bien, or just plain well, the Workmen’s Circle / Arbeter Ring believes strongly that decent and affordable healthcare is a right, not a privilege. In the long-term, that means we’re fighting for a single-payer, nationwide healthcare system modeled on Medicare. In the short-term, it’s always meant that we’d like to help you stay well. A century ago, we did that by building and operating a nationwide network of sanatoria and medical facilities, and keeping them affordable for all our members. Today, we’re doing it with a new service: our own affordable health insurance program, for members old and new.
Here’s how it works: if you’re under 65, working 20 or more hours per week, and a member of the Workmen’s Circle / Arbeter Ring, you can enroll in our CrossAmerica Defined Benefit Medical Plan for as little as $193.96 per month, or $466.73 for your whole family. There are no medical questions, no co-payments for services, and you are not restricted to a limited panel. We have several different plans, and each is available for an individual, couple, or single- or two-parent family.

So get well soon – and stay that way. And as for an affordable single-payer
nationwide healthcare system – we’re working on it. We’ll keep you posted.
