The Michigan community of The Workmen’s Circle / Arbeter Ring welcomes people of all ages into our warm, down-to-earth, creative, progressive Jewish community, with activities open to members and the public. We offer: meaningful, secular, cultural holiday celebrations and observances; A Kumzitz – The Shmooze Café; lively Shabbes potluck dinners with secular, cultural ceremony; stellar Yiddish and other concerts; secular Jewish lifecycle celebrations and ceremonies; lectures; Yiddish culture activities; programs co-sponsored with JCC Film Festival, Musicfest and Book Fair. Our programs are infused with a commitment to social justice - join us in our social justice campaigns.
Members receive voting and leadership opportunities, and discounts on some programs and services, including purchases at the WC/AR Jewish Book Center.
