The Megillah According to GLYK

Most people associate Jewish holidays with food and reading the Torah. Well, this one is all about drinking and playing dress up! And also food. Come join GLYK, New York’s newest, hottest, and gayest Yiddish theatre troupe for our Purim show, co-sponsored by the Workers Circle, as we read sacred texts and profane texts. Come for the fastest Megillah reading in town, stay for the Sholem Asch. And if you're feeling lucky, stick around for speed dating. Maybe you'll find the Esther to your Vashti. It’ll be a night of great fun that we’ll be lucky to remember the next day. Come dressed as your favorite Yiddishist to get a prize! Tickets are $18. For young people, and the young at heart!
