YIDDISH ABOUNDS AT CIRCLE LODGE!
The Workers Circle’s Trip to Yiddishland is our seven-day, six-night retreat. This trip features five levels of Yiddish classes, dance and klezmer, theater and music workshops, concerts, and a children’s program.
All are welcome, from brand-new Yiddishists to fluent speakers.
LED BY: Kolya Borodulin, Yasha Giner, Zisl Slepovitch, Agi Legutko, David Braun, Sheva Zucker, Deborah Strauss, Cantor Jeff Warschauer, Aaron Alexander, Christina Crowder, Motl Didner, Judy Bressler, Zach Mayer, Aaron Mayer, Lisa Mayer, and Sruli Dresdner.
Come explore mameloshn at Circle Lodge on Sylvan Lake in upstate New York, about 75 miles from NYC. Enjoy and learn! Daily Yiddish language classes at every level, shmueskrayzn, cultural workshops, Yiddish dance to live music, nightly evening concerts and cabaret, along full access to all facilities, including pool, lake, boating, tennis, and more.
Rates range from $650–$1,870 for adults, depending on room selections. We are proud of our intergenerational community and encourage you to bring your children and grandchildren who may take part in our children’s program during the day. We offer generous special pricing for children under age 17.
All prices include meals, classes, and rooms, except for the commuter option, which includes all meals and classes. If selecting the commuter option, one must enroll in the entire program — NO DAILY REGISTRATIONS.
