National Organizer, Freedom Vigils
The Workers Circle is seeking a National Organizer to advance our social justice work across the nation. In addition to contributing to outreach, education, and mobilization of grassroots activists as a part of our social justice team, the National Organizer will lead and expand our nationwide Freedom Vigils program—peaceful, visible public actions held outside detention centers, jails, sheriff’s offices, building sites for “warehouses,” and other sites of abduction/ incarceration. This organizer will support communities in organizing recurring vigils that combine moral witness, storytelling, coalition building, and public education.
This is a mid-level, full-time, remote position reporting to the Manager of Social Justice, with a preference for candidates who can work East Coast business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required. This is an exempt, union position.
National Organizer, Talk To Your Sheriff
The Workers Circle is seeking a National Organizer to advance our social justice work across the nation. In addition to contributing to outreach, education, and mobilization of grassroots activists as a part of our social justice team, the National Organizer will lead and grow our flagship “Talk to Your Sheriff” local accountability campaign focused on sheriffs and ending law enforcement cooperation with ICE. This organizer will play a central role in building a nationwide base of activists who are prepared to engage sheriffs directly, demand transparency, and push for policies that protect constitutional rights and immigrant communities.
This is a mid-level, full-time, remote position reporting to the Manager of Social Justice, with a preference for candidates who can work East Coast business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required. This is an exempt, union position.
Democracy Circle Organizer, DC Metro area
The Democracy Circle Organizer is based in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area and will have primary responsibility for advancing Democracy Circles, Workers Circle’s grassroots power-building model, with a special emphasis on engaging activists over 60 years of age. The Democracy Circle organizer will also anchor direct actions (marches, protests etc.) in DC and coordinate legislative visits and advocacy. The Democracy Circle Organizer is a member of the Social Justice team and will assist with other social justice programming, immersions, and campaigns.
Temporary Marketing and Communications Manager
We are seeking a Temporary Marketing and Communications Manager with a passion for graphic design, art inspiration, and social media strategy. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, highly detailed, and skilled at managing multiple projects while maintaining focus and follow-through. In this role, you will collaborate closely with all departments, including Social Justice and Yiddish culture, to create visually compelling materials and execute creative campaigns. This role will ensure continuity of marketing operations, campaigns, and digital communications during the coverage period. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the ideal candidate is a strong executor who can step in quickly, manage ongoing workstreams, and collaborate effectively across teams.
