Text Voters of Color in Wisconsin with Crucial Nonpartisan Information

Text Voters of Color in Wisconsin with Crucial Nonpartisan Information

On Monday, March 18, join the Workers Circle, League of Women Voters, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the Declaration For American Democracy and Public Citizen to text young women of color voters in Wisconsin before the primary.

No experience necessary! And you can text from anywhere. It’s easy, fun, and effective. Just jump on the zoom link and bring your cellphone. We’ll teach you on the spot and you’ll be helping to get important, nonpartisan information out to voters of color in no time.

Since the Supreme Court weakened the Voting Rights Act in its Shelby v. Holder ruling in 2013, state laws making it harder to vote have mushroomed.

Wisconsin’s Voter ID, shorter early voting windows and extra hoops for college voters to jump through, have made it harder to vote for younger voters of color.

Help us fight back.
