In response to the final Jan 6 Select Committee meeting and their call to the USDOJ to pursue criminal charges against former Pres. Donald Trump and others, Ann Toback, CEO of the Workers Circle said,

We express our deep appreciation for the thorough work of the bi-partisan January 6th Committee. The Committee has done their part for our nation, laying out the shocking ways that former President Donald Trump and his supporters broke the law and engaged in insurrection to try and stop Congress from certifying the election and overturn the will of the American voters. 

But the threat to our democracy is not over! Now it is up to USDOJ to act swiftly to bring criminal charges and the US Congress and the White House to review the committee’s policy recommendations and take action so that this never happens again. Our government must now demonstrate that no one is above the law.
