Member registration rates are $310 per class including song courses, and $620 for intensive courses. Mini-courses are $155.

All sessions are in Eastern Time (ET) and are recorded and sent to students for review or catching up. Classes are conducted solely on Zoom. Refunds will not be given after the second class.

LEARN TO READ YIDDISH ALEF-BEYS WITH GUSTAVO EMOS (DAY COURSE)

Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 – 2:30 PM: September 2, 4, 9, 11, 16

Course Goals:
In just five sessions, students will learn to recognize and read the Yiddish alef-beys, developing the skills needed to decode printed Yiddish words and texts with confidence.

Course Tools:
We’ll use real-life examples such as Yiddish street signs, posters, book covers, and engaging worksheets designed to reinforce letter recognition and pronunciation. All materials will be provided by the instructor.

Additional Info:
No prior knowledge of Yiddish or the alef-beys required.

Course Goals:
This five-session course is designed to help students learn the Yiddish alphabet and begin reading printed Yiddish words. By the end, you'll feel more confident navigating basic Yiddish texts on your own.

Course Tools:
We’ll work with authentic materials such as Yiddish street signs, book covers, posters, and worksheets, all carefully selected to support your learning. All course materials will be provided.

No prior knowledge of Yiddish or the alef-beys required.
