Course Goals: To learn basic spoken Yiddish in a supportive setting. We will emphasize listening comprehension in the beginning until students have acquired the necessary vocabulary and confidence to speak on their own.

Course Tools: YiddishPOP.com, chapters 3 and 4, plus supplemental materials provided by the instructor.

Additional Info: No previous knowledge of the alef-beys (the Yiddish alphabet) required.
