Course Goals: To achieve basic listening comprehension and conversational abilities in Yiddish without learning the alphabet. Since students will be already at the intermediate level, this class will also entail a significant level of guided discussion on selected topics. 

Course Tools: YiddishPOP.com, lesson 6, and other supplementary texts. Transliterations will be provided when needed.

Additional Info: This class is a continuation of Beginner Conversational Yiddish III. Knowledge of the vocabulary and grammar of YiddishPop chapters 1–5 is recommended, but no knowledge of the alef-beys (the Yiddish alphabet) is required.
