Course Goals: Build your basic reading, speaking, and writing skills and knowledge of some fundamentals of grammar through the communicative approach.

Pre-requisites: Students should know the alef-beys (the Yiddish alphabet) before beginning this course and have some familiarity with the following: introducing oneself, geography, subject pronouns, and conjugating verbs in the present tense (chapters 1-2א of In eynem). 

Course Tools: In Eynem by Asya Vaisman Schulman, Jordan Brown, and Mikhl Yashinsky (available for purchase here) along with materials provided by the instructor. We will start with Chapter 2 (beys)
