In the last 10 years, Google has abolished its very useful search combinations, severely limited the returns of searches on Google Books and reduced the scope and extent of its “returns” (many fewer details and sources). Nevertheless, thanks to several new online resources it is possible to mine many sources and details about Yiddish linguistic, literary, socio-cultural, and research sources. This course aims to review the major additional online resources and to share and test some effective search strategies to trace, retrieve, and navigate the digitized and virtual sources, or the information about the real sources that weren’t digitized.
