Phonebank for Voting Rights

Special Sunday Phonebank with the Workers Circle

On Tuesday, February 21st there will be a Primary Election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Recently the Wisconsin Supreme Court outlawed absentee dropboxes and a state law has tightened voter ID requirements making it harder for Black, low-income citizens to vote. Join us this Sunday as we make calls to Black voters in Milwaukee to provide crucial information they need to cast their ballot for a race that will impact voting rights, abortion rights, and democracy for years to come.

We phonebank in partnership with the Center for Common Ground, a people of color-led organization that fights voter suppression and empowers underserved communities to connect voters of color with the information they need to vote by mail and to vote early in person. Our calls support on-the-ground efforts to reach Black voters by the NAACP, Black Voters Matter, and Mi Familia Vota.
