Want to learn about the queer, Jewish, and labor history of one of New York City's most iconic neighborhoods? Join the Workers Circle and the Close Friends Collective for a free walking tour of the Lower East Side on Sunday, November 9 starting at 1:00 PM. This tour will focus on the stories of LGBTQ+ and Jewish organizers, artists, and community builders. We'll be diving deep with discussions about queerness, immigration, and Jewish American identity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And we'll finish off the tour with a snack from Pickle Guys!
This walking tour is free but please reserve a ticket to claim one of the 20 spots on the tour.
