Eyshe Beirich

Eyshe Beirich is a Yiddish scholar and translator living in Toronto, ON. He has taught Yiddish and Yiddish literature at Columbia University, the University of Chicago, the University of Toronto,and the YIVO-Bard Uriel Weinreich Yiddish Summer Program. His translations and writings have been published in Jewish Currents, Der Spekter, In Geveb, Afn Shvel , the Yiddish Forverts, among others. His book of translations, We, Traitors, an anthology of Bundist political writings, is forthcoming from Haymarket Press (Spring 2027). Eyshe holds an MA and MPhil in Yiddish literature from Columbia University and is currently a PhD student in Hebrew and Yiddish literature at the University of Toronto.
