Rosh Hashone

Rosh Hashone

Celebrate a New Beginning with the Workers Circle

Join us for a joyful and reflective virtual gathering that brings our global community together to welcome the New Year. With readings and music inspired by 1,000 years of Yiddish culture, we’ll set our intentions for the year ahead.

Join internationally celebrated klezmer musician and Yiddish cultural activist Deborah Strauss, a cherished figure in Yiddish music circles and recipient of the 2024 Adrienne Cooper Dreaming in Yiddish award, and acclaimed Yiddish singer and actor Dylan Seders Hoffman (guitar and voice), as we honor the Workers Circle’s tradition of gathering for the High Holidays — coming together to connect, reflect, and renew within the richness of our Yiddish cultural heritage.

Set up your apples and honey and join us online for songs, readings, and special performances by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Lisa Gutkin, and new-generation Yiddish star Adah Hetko.

Come hear the call of the shofar, inviting us to awaken to a new year rooted in community and commitment.

Please note the new time: 2 PM ET

$25 for Workers Circle members
